Final Project

For my final project, I took images I digitally painted of sunsets and transformed them into fantasy landscapes. I started out by printing the image on transfer paper, which I dripped water on and smudged the ink around to distort it. I then printed the image, and kept the original transfer paper. Then, I photographed the images and uploaded them to Photoshop, where I adjusted the levels, hue, and saturation. Finally, I took one of the pictures and put it on top of another one using the overlay tool. Using this image, I then drew a landscape that resembled it.

Final Project Ideas

-I want to work more with the process that I used for the last project, especially overlaying multiple images to create a surreal picture
-This time I would probably use images of people and nature and overlay them, and draw the people myself
-I would also like to keep experimenting with color and saturation
